Basic Info
Name:psyonic_sarcasm
Birthdate:04-08
Bio
Name:: Mori Tatsunori
Age:: 22

::Distinguishing Features::

- Mori has a long, jagged scar that curves from the hinge of his jaw, down his neck and back around to the opposite hip that he never speaks of its origin. It’s more noticeable on his back and hip and Mori makes sure to keep it hidden from view.
- His hands have burn scars that he hides with a pair of leather fingerless gloves.
- One blue stud in his left ear and a small silver hoop and stud in his right.

::Interesting Info::

- He is never without his leather boots…never. Army quality with steel cap toes that lace to just under the knee. You’d have to pry them from his cold dead body to get them off of his feet.
- He carries a knife with an eight inch blade strapped to his thigh and certainly knows how to use it.

::History::

Mori was born in New York to a fifteen year old who had no idea who her child’s father was. With parents unwilling to deal with a pregnant teenage daughter and with no way to contact the father, Mori’s mother was left to fend for herself and her child. Living in near poverty, Mori grew up practically on the streets from day one. At five Mori was walked into a hospital by his mother and left waiting on a chair while she visited a friend. Mori was left waiting…his mother never returning to collect her son. Sent into the social services hands, Mori was in and out of foster homes. It was during his stay at his first foster home at the age of five when his telekinetic powers were discovered during a particularly nasty temper tantrum. Needless to say the next day he was sent back into the care of social services after trashing his foster parent’s kitchen. Generally throwing pots and pans and embedding kitchen knives into the wall with your mind does not endear you to a normal middle-class family.

Ignoring what they believed to be bizarre lies about Mori, Social Services placed him in another foster home only to have him come back after yet another case of objects being moved around frequently without Mori touching them. And then there was the fires...furniture, clothes, toys even antire rooms engulfed in flames when Mori lost his temper or became scared. Quickly becoming known as the ‘freak’ kid, Mori was in and out of foster homes for most of his early childhood. Finally getting some control over his abilities, he entered his final foster home with every intention of proving he was ‘normal’. For all purposes it worked and Mori grew to care about his foster parents greatly even though the toll of hiding his tele and pyrokinesis wore on him constantly.

It wasn’t until he was fourteen that the incident happened. New Years Eve and his foster parents were throwing a party and the house was crowded with many a reveler. Happily playing video games with some friends, Mori was interrupted when a rather drunk work mate of his foster father’s started getting a little too close into his personal space for comfort. When hands began to wander Mori got mad, when he was trapped in an unwilling embrace with hands busy with his pants he lost control. Pressing his hands against the man’s chest he only intended to push him away. A searing pain later and the man was crumpled against the wall like a broken, charred doll and Mori’s hands were burnt raw.

It didn’t take long for him to be sent to the psych ward, his foster parents terrified of him and social service no longer knowing what to do with him. Mori spent the two years he was in the psych ward discovering more about his powers, especially his growing empathic abilities. Mori harnessed this skill to his full advantage, learning if he 'listened' in on what the doctors were feeling he’d soon know exactly how to behave to be released . He was released from the ward at age sixteen and placed into the care of the state again. When an elderly lady named Sara Faddon offered to give Mori a home he was suspicious. When she proved to possess abilities just like he did Mori was hopeful he’d finally found a place to belong. Sara taught Mori how to master his telekinetic and pyrokenetic abilities and to further harness his empathy.
But Sara was aged and not long after his nineteenth birthday Mori found Sara had gone to sleep never to wake again. Devastated as the only person who had truly accepted him had gone, Mori moved away from the apartment he had shared with Sara with the decent amount of money she had left to him in her will.

Now at 22 he’s pretty much a recluse, only associating with those that come to find him and some times venturing into the Incognito when he feels the need. He’s a psyonic for hire and has no qualms about using his skills for anything he feels is worth (or if he is paid enough) using them for. He seems to care very little about anything, hiding beneath a brash exterior, a sarcastic tongue and sometime obnoxious behavior. If you’re deemed worthy enough (In other words Mori allows you just that little bit closer than he lets everyone else) you’ll find a cheeky, playful sense of humor with a wicked edge.

Few if any will ever be allowed to see through to the kind soul, scared of losing yet another person he’s allowed himself to care about.
